POLICE SOFTWARE - CrimeStar Mobile Digital Communicator (MDC)


	The MDC workstation provides one key pop-up dialogs that can be used to modify a units current CAD status and provide valuable comments that appear on the CAD status monitors and become permanent record in the systems unit history tables. Units can dispatch themselves to an event (call), place themselves enroute or arrived on an event, clear from an event, or free themselves from an event. Likewise, units can place themselves on a Vehicle Stop or Miscellaneous status or create new CAD Events directly field.
		The MDC software provides a variety of audible alerts to notify users of pending messages. Users can receive voice confirmations of MDC status transactions, via the built-in Text-To-Speech engine and all MDC workstation forms and dialogs are completely Touch-Screen enabled with a simple, fast and easy to use, sizable popup-keyboard that is field specific.
